This project is a part of a greater Coit Road widening project, which also includes Coit from First Street to Prosper Trail. Update: The project is in the design phase.

The schematic design has been completed and the Texas Department of Transportation is actively acquiring right-of-way. The project will replace the existing asphalt roadway with two concrete lanes.
