With regard to Picadilly Park and Pecan park, project leaders held a second open house for residents in mid-December and have posted a survey about amenity preferences online on the city’s website. Consultants are examining resident feedback on surveys pertaining to two initial designs and a nal design for Wilbarger Creek Park. A resident survey on 1849 Park Phase 2 also wrapped up in December. Trey Fletcher, Pugerville’s deputy city manager, said the city hired a consultant to manage the parks bond. “Sta is still involved, but [the con- sultant] is kind of the lead,” Fletcher said. “They’re helping with not only project management and delivery, but also with cost estimation.”

Following voter approval in November 2020 of $42.3 million in bond funding for parks and recre- ation projects, city leaders in Puger- ville are making substantial headway on planning for six popular parks. Improvements will be applied to Picadilly Park, Murchison Park, Wil- barger Creek Park, Pecan Park, Kelly Lane Park and 1849 Park, according to city information. Project leaders ended resident feedback on Jan. 7 for the improve- ment projects for Murchison Park and Kelly Lane Park, which are being designed by the same consultant. As part of public outreach, resi- dents were asked to pick between two concepts for both parks, and city sta will deliver more information on
