Pflugerville Fire Department Highlights 2025 Year-In-Review Travis County ESD No. 2 releases annual report, shares major outcomes from last year
New Facilities The brand new Ron G. Moellenberg training facility, located on Cameron Road, replaced TCESD2's previous training facility that hadn't been updated in 30 years. Having a dedicated training center helps the Department keep up with strict annual training and certification requirements.
Travis County Emergency Services District No. 2 (TCESD2), has an- nounced the release of their 2025 annual report. The report serves as a central piece of communication from the Fire Department to the residents who live within the boundaries of the district. “It’s important for us to maintain fully transparent communications with the community,” said Chief Nicholas Perkins. “This year’s report does a great job of showing our residents how we continue to invest in their safety.” Services Calls Overall, TCESD2 recorded 14,389 total service calls in 2025. This is the highest number of service calls in one year that the Depart-
ment has ever recorded. That number includes: ● 10,774 medical emergency calls ● 346 fire emergency calls To see a more thorough breakdown of fire and medical service calls visit www.pflugervillefire.org/annual-report f ires

Installing Free, Lifesaving Smoke Alarms Thanks to a 2025 FEMA grant, TCESD2 received enough fund- ing to install over 2,300 free smoke alarms, benefitting over 2,000 at-risk residents in their District, at no cost to the taxpay- ers. Smoke alarms are critical early-warning systems that greatly reduce the risk of death in a fire emergency.
