Boots & Roots The Pflugerville Education Foundation’s Boots & Roots Celebration will feature a silent auction, interactive photobooth, reception, live entertainment and special recognition honoring the nonprofit organization’s 20th anniversary. Proceeds from the event will go to support the nonprofit’s mission. • April 17, 5:30 p.m. • $180 (individual ticket) • 3001 Kalahari Blvd., Round Rock • www.thepfoundation.org Cornhole Tournament A cornhole tournament will be held at Cottonwood Creek Brewery, benefiting the Chris Branham Memorial Foundation, which honors the life of a Round Rock resident. Proceeds raised will benefit local youth baseball and also high school graduates planning to attend trade schools. The race will take place at Adam Orgain Park, suitable for both runners and those who choose to walk. Top finishers will receive placement medals and special recognition. • April 25, 7:30-8:20 a.m. • $30 (ages 19 and up), $20 (ages 18 and under)
Slice of Pflugerville The family-friendly event brings various cultures together to celebrate, enjoy food and listen to the live music. The event features local craft vendors offering handmade goods, and Grammy-nominated Sister Sleder will perform as the music headliner.
