In both annual and cumulative measurements, the natural population growth in both counties increased, meaning more county residents were born than died. Between July 1, 2024 and July 1, 2025, the census data showed that there were 1,950 births and 1,650 deaths in Comal County. Between July 1, 2024 and July 1, 2025, the census data found that there were 2,058 births and 1,433 deaths in Guadalupe County. The largest contributor to population growth in Comal and Guadalupe counties is domestic migration, according to data from the bureau. Domestic migration refers to individuals moving across county or state lines. International migra- tion refers to individuals who cross a national border between two countries.
