New Braunfels has a variety of different venues for live music, from the locally owned to the traditional Redbird Listening Room and the historic Gruene Hall. Artists include local bands such as the Bucksnort Boogie Boys and singer-songwriters such as Hannah Swann. Specializing in traditional German music, polka and dancing, the Alex Meixner Band will perform at
Krause’s Cafe this May. The group mixes up classic European folk tunes with a modern rock twist, according to their website.
