NBU begins final phase of $7M sewer line project in Gruene
New Braunfels Utilities, or NBU, began the final phase of its Gruene Road Sewer Main Rehabilitation and Relocation Project on April 7, according to a news release. The impact The majority of construction impacts will occur overnight Sunday-Friday morning from 9 p.m.-6 a.m. The project is anticipated to be completed May 29, according to the release. During active work hours, traffic will be reduced to one lane. There will be flaggers direct- ing drivers through the area. Short segments of a flagging operation will be conducted during the weekdays while the proj- ect’s contractor constructs two concrete vaults near the bridge, the release states.
