Gosling Road golf course plans take a step forward The Woodlands Township board of directors on March 26 voted 7-0 to approve the terms for a development agreement for a new nine-hole golf course and associated amenities on Gosling Road. Chief Operating O cer Chris Nunes said at the meeting that the township has worked with Early Bird, which manages Houston’s East River 9, over the past six weeks to create the nonbinding term sheet for the public-private partnership on terms such as the length of the agreement and revenue shares. About the project The golf complex will be located at the South Gosling Tract, donated by Howard Hughes in 2023, o Gosling Road in Spring Creek. How we got here A Tra c Analysis Committee made up of residents and a council member was created to identify local tra c concerns, along with an online survey. Current situation Residents discussed speeding concerns in areas like Grogans Mill Road. Marie Wise, a resident, suggested considering Flock cameras to record license plates. “A Flock camera will not only prevent crime but it will also slow down drivers,” she said.

Going forward Nunes said that with the board’s approval, the township can now move forward with the development agreement that will be presented to the board at April’s township meeting.
