Styled like a 1920s service station with vintage Ford vehicles, gas pumps and fixtures, Ford’s Garage offers gourmet burgers and American comfort food entrees, such as meatloaf, chili, and macaroni and cheese, according to the eatery’s website. It also offers a variety American craft beers, wine and cocktails. The restau- rant is in the building formerly occupied by Razzoo’s Cajun Cafe, which closed in December 2019 after 20 years of service at that location. Company officials stated the restaurant is estimated to open by late summer or early fall. The steak and seafood restaurant chain, which started in Austin, will open at 5300 SH 121. The new location is on the southwest corner of the intersection where Preston Road meets the Sam Rayburn Tollway frontage road. The restaurant will feature menu items, such as the Chilean sea bass, crab fried rice, and truffled macaroni and cheese. Featured cocktails will include the Smoked Old Fashioned and the Hope Diamond. A March 4 company release stated the location will offer guests “a luxurious experience where fine dining meets a glamorous night out in a vibrant atmosphere complete with live music.” www.eddiev.com/plano 10 Mendocino Farms , a fast-casual restaurant known for its wide-ranging and seasonally inspired menu options is slated to open at Legacy West in Plano this summer. An exact opening date has not yet been announced, but signage on the building at 7700 Windrose Ave. states “coming summer 2022.” The eatery specializes in sandwiches and salads that range from traditional to more adventur- ous options.
