As residential development drives population growth in Manvel, healthcare providers are increasing their presence in the city with new facilities aimed at meeting residents’ medical needs. With two urgent care facilities, two primary care clinics and a 24/7 emergency room under construction, residents have greater access to local healthcare options, Mayor Dan Davis said. Major ongoing residential developments, including Meridiana, Pomona and Valencia are expected to bring 6,500-7,000 homes to Manvel at full buildout, development documents note. “Having quality care nearby can make a real difference for families when they need help quickly,” Davis said. “That matters not only for convenience, but especially in emergency situations, every minute matters.” Manvel expands health care access

The city’s emergency care options initially expanded in 2024 with the openings of Memorial Hermann-GoHealth Urgent Care and Next Level Urgent Care. Primary care services also expanded in April when Memorial Hermann Medical Group opened a clinic in the Manvel Town Center, joining Infinity Family Clinic as local options for residents. In addition, the Manvel Emergency Center is currently under construction and is projected to open in early 2027 to provide 24/7 emergency care. As development continues across the city, Davis said dependable healthcare services remain essential to supporting residents and improving quality of life. “At the end of the day, it’s about making sure residents have access to the services and care they need without having to leave the community,” Davis said.
