The salon was founded by Sarah Compton, Cayce Herrera and Dasha Rose to create a fun and positive environment for Instagram-worthy hair, Compton said. She added that they are also invested in helping people and oer an associate program to help young and new stylists grow and learn more after cosmetology school through hands-on work. The stylists oer a variety of services, such as classic haircuts, balayage, highlights, root touch-ups, Brazilian blowouts and more. The salon also

sports, swimming, arts and crafts, and more. There are programs for kids as young as 6 months old. The YMCA also oers a range of tness classes from gentle yoga and aqua arthritis to Tai chi and Zumba. 512-523-0099. www.austinymca.org RENOVATIONS 10 Walmart , located at 690 Old San Antonio Road, Buda, held a grand reopening event July 16 to celebrate the completion of a two-year-long renovation. Portions of the store have been rear- ranged, aisles have been widened, oors have been repolished and other improve- ments such as new signage and replaced wood were done throughout. With the interior and part of the exterior now up- graded, Walmart will next tackle work on

the parking lot. Located at 1540 Satterwhite Road, Buda, the 7.9 acres of land is home to the drive-in theater with two large screens, a members-only club, a commercial kitchen and three short- term rental properties.
