Looking back on the €rst year in operation, Lapham said the most rewarding aspect of owning the shop has been seeing the joy on his customers’ faces when they ride o„ on their new set of wheels. “They go from being a business professional to a little kid again,” he said. “I love getting to see people’s reactions and smiles as they leave on their new bike heading straight to the trails.”

After an extensive search, Lapham was €nally able to secure a bicycle, but an incident with a nearby shop that sold his preordered bike before he could pick it up left him concerned. “If these guys are doing this, then I thought, ‘I could do a better job of o„ering this community a better service,’” Lapham said.
