6 Collective Coee , a new coee shop, is expected to open in Historic Downtown McKinney in early 2023. The coee shop, to be located at 301 W. Louisiana St., Unit 102, is a new concept by co-owners Patrick McCarthy, Tim Cook and Alyssa Cook. The coee shop will serve a variety of coee drinks, teas and seasonal drinks, such as refreshers, as well as break- fast and snack items with gluten-free options, Tim Cook said. The shop also plans to have four signature drinks named after iconic McKinney streets: Virginia, Louisiana, Tennessee and Kentucky. The coee shop is intended to serve as a welcoming, multipurpose space for anyone looking to work, study, connect with others and more, Tim Cook said. www.collectivedowntown.com 7 Hideaway Pizza will open in its rst Texas location in north McKinney, accord- ing to the company’s Marketing Director Jenny Grigsby. The McKinney restaurant will be located at 2101 N. Hardin Blvd., according to a ling with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The pizza restaurant is expected to open in early 2024 and will feature about 240 seats, a full bar and a large rooftop patio, Grigsby said. Hideaway Pizza’s menu includes fried mushrooms, salads, sand- wiches, baked pastas, specialty pizzas and more, according to the restaurant’s website. The Tulsa-based company operates 23 locations across Oklahoma and Arkansas, according to its website. www.hideawaypizza.com 8 A BMW of McKinney car dealership is planned for north McKinney. The deal- ership will be located at 2601 N. Central Expressway. The plans propose the deal- ership will have an over 70,000-square-

Texas dealership in McKinney on Nov. 25, according to a news release. The dealer- ship and service center, located at 900 N. Central Expressway, sells and builds cus- tom trucks, Jeeps and SUVs with o-road- ing capability, according to its website. The location includes three buildings to facili- tate sales, service and administration. The family-owned company plans to hire 15-20 new employees from the area to support the seven sta members who relocated from Arizona to work at the new location, according to the news release. The restaurant, located at 3194 W. Universi- ty Drive, Ste. 600, sells made-to-order sandwiches using homemade ingredi- ents and in-house roasted turkeys for sandwiches, according to its website. The shop is one of more than 150 Capriotti’s throughout 27 states nationwide, accord- ing to its website. www.capriottis.com COMING SOON 5 Wake and Bakery Coee is set to open its doors during late January or early February at 109 N. Kentucky St. in McKinney. The downtown shop will oer high-end coee as well as baked goods, such as pastries and muns. Wake and Bakery Coee guests will also have the option of infusing their drink or food order with CBD or Delta 8. “We’re not just another coee place,” co-owner Tanya Endicott said.
