CCISD invests $16.6M in school repairs Clear Creek ISD’s 2023 bond is funding $16.6 million worth of facility upgrades at Brookwood, Ferguson, Hyde, North Pointe, Wedgewood and Ward Elementary schools. The board of trustees approved the projects at its Dec. 16 meeting. Clear Creek ISD students will start school on Aug. 11 and 12 after the board of trustees approved the 2026-27 academic calendar at its Dec. 16 meeting. New specialized student programs coming to Clear Creek ISD in 2026 A re-envisioned science magnet program at Seabrook and Brookside Intermediate schools, as well as new learning specialties for Clear Creek, Victory Lakes and Clear Lake Intermediate schools, are underway at Clear Creek ISD. The new specializations are slated to roll out through the 2026-27 school year, officials said at CCISD’s board of trustees’ Dec. 8 workshop.

• An option to take up to nine science magnet quarterly Quest Courses per semester before leaving intermediate schools • More student-driven choice and personalized science pathways • Expanded science showcases pathways in the scientific research course

What else? CCISD is also expanding its space, technology, robotics, engineering, arts and medicine, or STREAM, initiative to Clear Creek, Victory Lakes and Clear Lake Intermediate schools.
