Manvel retrieves $450K stolen from city coffers Roughly a month after $450,000 was stolen from the city of Manvel, law enforcement officials were able to retrieve it. Despite this, an investigation is ongoing and officials are still tracking down the parties involved in the breach. In an Oct. 28 news release from the city announcing the incident, officials said the breach stemmed from suspects getting into the city’s email system.
