She noted that creating such special memories is what she loves most and she appreciates when couples return to the inn. “Creating meaningful, memorable moments is really at the heart of what we do,” L’Etoile said. “Being trusted with those memories—whether it’s a wedding or a surprise proposal—means everything.”

When Corley L’Etoile and her husband, Eric, took over the venue in 2024, it had already hosted wed- dings for 40 years. L’Etoile said that adding surprise proposal packages seemed “like a natural t.” “We genuinely enjoy helping people create moments they’ll remember for a lifetime,” she said, noting that most want something special, but either don’t know where to start or don’t want to worry about the implementation. “A beautifully executed proposal or wedding
