Red Poppy Festival Georgetown’s annual Red Poppy Festival commemorates the flower’s blooming season and features three days of food and craft vendors, a parade, a car show, concerts, and other activities. • April 26-28 • Free (admission)
Slice of Pflugerville The city of Pflugerville will have its annual festival celebrating the various cultures that make up the Pflugerville community. 6th annual Round Rock Donut Dash The annual 5K event features a pit stop at the halfway mark for runners and walkers to fuel up on doughnuts. Participants can sign up for the challenger division, in which runners must eat a dozen doughnuts before finishing. The casual division is for those who want to run and eat at their own pace. Wine and Swine Local wine bar Wine Sensation will celebrate its fifth anniversary with a pork dinner, serving guests carnitas with tortillas, rice, beans and salsa.
