Downtown Candy Crawl Previously known as the Boo Bash, Georgetown residents can celebrate the spooky holiday by trick- or-treating at local businesses at this event hosted by Downtown Georgetown Association. Attendees are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes.

Williamson County Fair and Rodeo Residents can look forward to family fun for everyone with a variety of competitive rodeo events and games. Lindsey Brisbine, the host of “The Chilling Podcast,” will tell scary stories. Doors open at 6 p.m. with tarot readings and an in-house metaphysical shop provided by Silver Moon Curios. • Oct. 24, 7:30 p.m. • $25 (admission) • Georgetown Palace Theatre Springer Stage, 16th annual Boo Run Exceptional Georgetown Alliance will host its annual fundraising event featuring a 5K chip-timed run, a 1-mile fun run and a kids costume contest. Attendees are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes. Arts and Crafts Fair Hosted by the Sun City Texas Community Association, the annual event will include over 100 craft vendors indoors and outdoors on the back patio and in the Sun City Social Center and Craft Center. The event will feature a silent auction, a live auction and a wine toss. All proceeds from the ball will go toward the shelter’s fostering program. The flags will honor military personnel, veterans, first responders, K-9 units and equestrian heroes. Flags can be purchased and dedicated online or at the event. Funds raised from flag sales benefit nonprofit organizations that provide services to veterans and first responders. Trick or Treat Trail Local businesses and organizations will pass out candy to trick-or-treaters, and there will be games available for attendees at Georgetown Parks & Recreation’s annual event. A movie will be shown at the Legacy Pavilion after trick-or-treating ends at 7 p.m. Costumes are encouraged.

Veterans Day Ceremony The Sun City Texas Community Association will host the annual ceremony featuring service recognition; a performance by the Georgetown High School band and orchestra; and guest speaker Command Sgt. Maj. Michelle L. The kids dash will be untimed and is open to ages 10 and under. Participants will receive a mini bib, a youth-sized shirt and a kids dash pin. The 1-mile run registration includes a designer shirt and a challenge pin. 1K and 5K registration includes a custom bib, a designer shirt and a finisher medal.
