Future development

Headwater began below-ground infrastructure work in September 2023, and about a year later, the company started constructing a roughly 15,000 square-foot building on-site, Dooley said. Half of the building is already preleased, and two additional retail buildings are expected to be about 9,600 square feet, Dooley said. The site is being developed by Partners Devel- opment Co., the development branch of Partners Real Estate. How we got here Partners bought the site of the former McCoy Elementary School for $4.5 million in 2021. In 2022, the city of Georgetown approved the mixed- use development project. Upon the project’s completion, a 1.28-acre site next to it is reserved for future development.
