Originally founded in Los Angeles, there are now a handful of locations throughout the Austin area. 7 Thunderbird Coffee After 17 years in business as a neighborhood coffee shop, owner Ryan McElroy announced on social media in October he would soon close Thunderbird Coffee; however, he hopes to stay open until December to allow his team to find new jobs.
