Restaurant 33 Group operates seven restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, including two in down- town McKinney. “The Yard is going to be a really tough one to duplicate,” Wisniewski said. “If I was willing to operate a restaurant on a daily basis for the rest of my life, it’s this one. I love this restaurant.” The restaurant is located in an over 100-year-old historic home o the downtown square. The prop- erty, originally built in 1855, was used as a single-family home before

The Yard opened at that location in fall 2018. Recently added menu additions include some summer heat-tolerant and healthy items such as salads, as well as protein and grain bowls, Wisniewski said. “All of the common things that you would expect to nd in a backyard restaurant ... those things are still on the menu,” she said. “But we also wanted to get ... some more health-forward options.” The restaurant’s drink menu includes beers, frozen drinks, wines and premixed cocktails on tap.
