Honeyland Festival shows art, expression The Honeyland Festival is set to take place in Sugar Land on Nov. 11-12 at Crown Festival Park, 18355 Southwest Freeway. The event is billed as the “sweet spot for food, music and Black creativ- ity,” with Mary J. Blige, Grammy Award-winning R&B and hip-hop soul artist, as its headliner. Admission starts at $175. The setup Attendees can expect musical performances, DJ sets and lounge shows from over 20 musicians. These include artists such as Jazmine Sullivan, Tobe Nwigwe and Miguel as well as Houston all- stars, including Slim Thug and Paul Wall. In addition, culinary demonstrations, exclusive samples, global food vendors and expert panels have been curated by Marcus Samuelsson, a nationally renowned chef, author and television personality often appearing on Food Network.

Festival attendees can expect music, food and drinks curated by nationally recognized talents.
