Township Board Election Results and Officers During the November 20, 2024, meeting, Judge Lisa Michalk of the Montgomery County 221st District Court administered the Oaths of Office to the newly elected Directors of The Woodlands Township: Brad Bailey, Position 1; Linda Nelson, Position 2; Richard Franks, Position 3; and Craig Eissler, Position 4. In addition, the Board elected their officers for 2025 as follows: Chairman Brad Bailey, Vice Chairman Craig Eissler, Secretary Linda Nelson and Treasurer Richard Franks. The Board extends their gratitude to Dr. Ann K. Snyder, immediate past Chair, for her dedicated leadership and guidance throughout her tenure as Chairman.

The Woodlands Township Board recently recognized outgoing Director Kyle Watson for his dedication, unwavering commitment, integrity and leadership during his tenure on the Board of Directors. Vice Chairman Watson advanced key initiatives, including governance improvements and community enhancements. Watson chose not to run for re-election.

Did you know you can compost your live Christmas tree? Unflocked trees free of decorations can be collected at your curb with yard trimmings on your regular trash service day or deposited at the Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park from Thursday, December 26, 2024, to Sunday, January 12, 2025. The trees will be chipped and used for flooring at Texas TreeVentures. Flocked and artificial Christmas trees must be landfilled and can be scheduled for bulk pickup on your regular service day. Registration is Open Now for Spring Programs Caring with Caution This holiday season, if you encounter a panhandler, remember not all are homeless—some may be linked to organized activities. Ensure safety by reporting concerns to law enforcement, offering essentials instead of cash and connecting individuals to local services like Interfaith of The Woodlands.
