4 The Woodlands Fire Station No. 5 Project: The township is building a new station to replace Fire Station No. 5 after several structural issues. The station is set to have 23,000 square feet of space to house the re department and members of the Montgomery County Hospital District. 1 Alden Bridge Sports Park Project: The Woodlands Township will begin Phase 1 of remodeling the Alden Bridge Sports Park, which will include converting a small grass eld to the park’s “championship eld” with all-weather turf, bleachers and scoreboard. Improvements will include 224 more parking spaces, new grass elds and a restroom. Update: The township will work with the Texas Department of Transportation to install a trac light on Hwy. 242 and has received approval for permitting as of November, ocials said. • Timeline: July 2025-March 2026 • Cost: $17.8 million • Funding source: The Woodlands Township 2 50th anniversary statue Project: A “First Fifty” sculpture was proposed for the

5 The Woodlands Emergency Training Center Project: The township will fund improvements to the Emergency Training Center as part of the $14.5 million project to rebuild Fire Station No. 5. Work will include more shower and bathroom space, expanding the clean burn space and adding structural improvements. Update: Contractor Brookstone has begun construction as of November, Fire Chief Palmer Buck said. • Timeline: August 2024-December 2025 • Cost: $14.5 million (part of Fire Station No. 5 package) • Funding source: The Woodlands Township
