‘The Grinch’ The city of Friendswood hosts its Movies in the Park series during July and August at Stevenson Park Gazebo. Celebration of Freedom Pearland residents are invited to Independence Park for a Fourth of July party. It features live music, a presentation of colors, food trucks, free giveaways, inflatables, games and activities for families, and an 18-minute fireworks show. Most event games require a $5 wristband but entry is free.
