Burn Boot Camp owners strive to build community

Each instructor at Burn Boot Camp is a certied personal trainer and membership includes one-on-one time.

“It’s not just to empower people physically but mentally too,” she said. Initially, Burn Boot Camp catered mainly toward women. During the pandemic, Patel said they decided to pivot to provide classes to families. Patel said the gym’s community oers a support system and membership includes complimentary child care for children from 8 weeks to 12 years. “[I wanted to] build a community that will stand together when you really need it,” Patel said. Quote of note “We are a community-based gym,” Patel said. “We’re very supportive, whether that’s of things you want in your personal life or professional life. We make it a welcoming environment.”

Burn Boot Camp owner Deepal Patel said the gym makes its members do hard things in the gym so that they can do the harder things in life. “I always say ‘what you do in the gym is actually a lot easier than what you do outside of the gym,’” she said. Patel worked as a litigation paralegal before opening Burn Boot Camp in 2020 with her hus- band. In addition to Burn Boot Camp, the couple also owns Prosper’s Project LeanNation, which oers healthy prepared meals and protein shakes. What they oer Patel said the gym’s mission is to empower members to live a healthier lifestyle through the tness programs that are oered.
