What you need know The city is prioritizing Phase 1 of the two-phase project, spanning from Plateau Drive to McMakin Street along SH 5, in an effort to clear utility lines in time for the Texas Department of Transporta- tion to start construction along the roadway. Phase 1 of utility relocations is expected to be completed mid-2025, while Phase 2 of relocations, spanning from McMakin Street to Power House Street, is projected to finish mid-2026. About the project The utility relocation work is being conducted by ANA Site Construction and includes relocating and reconstructing over 23,000 feet of water distri- bution mains and about 10,700 feet of wastewater collection lines, according to city documents.
