Georgetown launches ride-hail voucher program On May 6, the city of Georgetown announced the launch of rideGTX, a ride-hail voucher program for residents and visitors to commute around the city. The program allows users to access transpor- tation 24/7 through a partnership with Uber and zTrip, a wheelchair-accessible vehicle provider, according to a city news release. What we know City Council members approved a three-year contract with TRIPPP Consulting, a public transit consulting company at a Feb. 11 meeting, accord- ing to previous Community Impact reporting.
