4TH OF JULY EVENTS There are several local events celebrating the 4th of July in Cedar Park, Austin and beyond. AUSTIN JULY 04 Willie Nelson’s 50th annual 4th of July Picnic will feature Willie Nelson & Family, Tyler Childers, Dwight Yoakam, Shakey Graves, Asleep at the Wheel and others plus food, drinks and postshow reworks. 1 p.m. (doors), 2 p.m. (show). $49-$304. The Paramount Theatre is celebrating its 49th annual summer classic lm series, which will run through Sept. 2. Presented by Capital Metro, the series of over 90 lms will oer several themed weeks of movies, such as a week of Pride screenings in June, a week of vampire movies, ghting movies, foreign lms and more. The event will include three competitions: a Game of SKATE, in which skaters perform each other’s tricks; a street competition; and a bowl competition.
