5 Grogans Mill Road and Research Forest Drive turn lane extension Project: The project is extending the deceleration lane from westbound Research Forest Drive onto northbound Grogans Mill Road. Update: Bleyl said work should be completed by Thanksgiving. • Timeline: September-TBD • Cost: $240,000 • Funding sources: Montgomery County Precinct 2, TxDOT 6 Hwy. 242 widening Project: Hwy. 242 is being widened and restriped between FM 1488 and I-45. Update: As of September, the project was 31% complete. • Timeline: Oct. 23, 2023-™irst quarter 2026 • Cost: $29.11 million • Funding sources: federal, state funds 4 Woodlands Parkway lane addition Project: A third westbound lane will be added to Woodlands Parkway. The raised median separating the right-turn lane and the through lanes will be eliminated, according to a news release. Update: Utility relocation work was underway in September. • Timeline: late 2024-TBD • Cost: TBD • Funding source: Montgomery County Precinct 3

Project: Montgomery County commissioners and the Texas Department of Transportation are funding the construction of a yover from northbound I-45 to eastbound Hwy. 242. Update: As of Oct. 2, The TxDOT project tracker showed $268,054 had been spent on project engineering and construction. • Timeline: late 2024-TBD • Cost: $19.1 million • Funding source: Montgomery County, federal funds
