The Woodlands Township board of directors, Position 4

What are the biggest challenges facing The Woodlands Township in the next two years? Rapid growth leading to public safety and mobility challenges. Strategic economic development to help oset costs and further reduce reliance on property tax revenues.

What do you think are the biggest challenges facing this district? Flooding is the most pressing local issue for our district. That is why I have secured signi”cant funding for •ood mitigation projects across our district. Texas is severely impacted by the [Joe] Biden-[Kamala] Harris border crisis, which is why I’ve passed legislation securing the southern border and combating the Mexican drug cartels.

U.S. House, District 2

What priorities will you have if elected?

If elected, what would be your top priorities?

Preserving the current quality of life while also being a responsible steward of taxpayer money being as innovative as possible in how the board approaches growth.

My priorities will remain the same as they have been since taking o€ce: preparing for future •ooding and mitigating •ooding disasters, securing the southern border, protecting the Texas oil and gas industry, defending America’s national security and lowering the cost of living for Texans across the Second District.

Establish town halls, digital forums and partnerships with local entities. Ensure transparency, accountability and responsive governance through regular updates and feedback systems. Promote smart growth, invest in infrastructure, support local businesses and attract diverse industries. Enhance safety measures, support community policing and expand recreational facilities and cultural programs.

The Woodlands challenges include managing rapid growth, improving tra€c and transportation, diversifying the economy, enhancing public safety, maintaining transparent community engagement, ensuring environmental sustainability and upgrading aging infrastructure. Addressing these issues will require strategic planning, community involvement and eective management to support long-term development and quality of life.

Our district faces many public safety challenges that threaten our health. I will address these concerns with results-based solutions that meet the needs and expectations of our community. These will include gun safety programs, proactive •ood prevention plans and increased protections for chemical plants to prevent environmental disasters.

If elected my top priorities are working persuasively on committees and bringing appropriations to our district that address the concerns I mentioned previously. I will work on the Energy and Commerce committee in a bipartisan fashion, crafting legislation that prevents power outages while spurring energy industry innovation in electricity generation.
