Bastrop Family Connects oers free home visits Bastrop County families with babies up to three months old can receive free at-home nurse visits and resources from Bastrop Family Connects—a partnership with Lone Star Circle of Care. How it works Celeste Wadlow, Bastrop Family Connects nursing supervisor, said families can be seen at home, by phone or at the clinic at 605 Old Austin Hwy., Bastrop. During the visit, a health assessment will be performed by a registered nurse. After that, families will be provided with resources based on any identied needs. Learn more Wadlow said eligibility requirements are simple: reside in Bastrop County and have a baby up to 12 weeks old.
Pathways debuts new name, more services Since 2009, Bastrop Pregnancy Resource Center has oered free support to families. In February, the center changed its name to Pathways Women & Family Center to reect
