The driveway closure began July 15, and drivers will be able to access the shopping plaza via a secondary driveway on the eastbound lane as well as through two driveways along the I-35 frontage road at the Market’s eastern boundary. The shopping center is anchored by Sprout’s Farmer’s Market and features several retail, dining and service businesses. temporarily limited through October along the eastbound lane of RM 620 as continued construction in the area progresses. The project will add frontage road lanes and a bridge over the railroad crossing at Chisholm Trail Road as well as a new roundabout below the bridge. To help maintain access to businesses and residential spaces in the area, crews will build access roads between Lake Creek Drive and Chisholm Trail. The project includes a second bridge that will be constructed to carry RM 620 trac and 3 of the Kenney Fort Boulevard project to add a three-lane north- south arterial road that will provide an additional route through eastern Round Rock. Crews are grading the site for the new road and completing underground water utility work. The placement of the street’s future intersection with Gattis School Road has been marked with poles, and the sidewalk along those sections is closed to public use. The upgrades on Kenney Fort will run from Forest Creek Drive to SH 45 N began in early 2022 and will be nished in spring 2023, according to the city. The project will cost $23 million for the construction and engineering of the second and third segments.

Red Bud Lane North improvements between US 79 and CR 117 Red Bud Lane will be upgraded to a four-lane divided roadway from US 79 to CR 117. The project will also add pe- destrian, intersection, curb and gutter improvements to accommodate future homes being built in the area. University Boulevard extension A section of University Boulevard spanning between A.W. Grimes Boule- vard and SH 130 will be widened from a two-lane roadway to a four-lane roadway with a median. Construction began in April 2021 and was expected to be completed by 2022, but delays have pushed the expected completion date to mid-2023.
