Two road rehabilitation projects are underway in Richardson, with completion expected later this year. Both projects involve concrete repair and sidewalk rehabilitation along two city roadways: Arapaho Road between Greenville Avenue and Bowser Road, and East Spring Valley Road between Greenville Avenue and Abrams Road. What you need to know Both rehabilitation projects began in late 2023, according to the city’s construction update website, and are included in the city’s annual street rehabilitation plan for arterial and collec- tor streets. The expected cost for both projects is nearly $2.7 million, per the projects map, with funding sourced from the city’s street rehabilitation fund. Construction for both projects involves remov- ing portions of the roadway, repairing the base pavement structure and adding a new asphalt
