Our “Student of the Month” for March 2019 is Andrew Gage, a kindergartner at Snyder Elementary School. His favorite pastime is watching WWE Wrestling with his father and brother, especially John Cena. He loves learning with his friends and is great at building cool things with legos. kindergarten year. He was struggling in the classroom and his confidence was a bit low. Based on the results of his Diagnostic Assessment, plus feedback from mom, we started Andrew in our Kindergarten Program to help build his skill sets for the classroom. He was young for his grade, didn’t know all of his site words but definitely had the skillsets to succeed. The Tutoring Center’s fun, proven, unique, one-to- one instruction known as “The Rotational Approach to Learning” helps students from kindergarten thru high school improve their confidence and self-esteem while also strengthening their academic skills in reading, writing and math. After 40 sessions at The Tutoring Center, Andrew has gained a lot of confidence and is having a lot more fun at school. He has mastered his site words and is on his way to the Honor Roll next year. Way to go Andrew!
