Community Senior Living Guide

BY ERIC WEILBACHER

2024

Readers, welcome to your annual CI Senior Living Guide! This guide features the latest updates and resources on senior living options in your community. All of the stories were written by our team of local journalists. The senior citizen population grew the most in recent years in Bexar County as a whole—by 10.25% since 2019—but significantly in the cities of San Antonio, Shavano Park and Hill Country Village as well. In this year’s edition, learn more about how seniors in our community are affected by the rising cost of living and funding needs of the organizations that support them. You will find information on available senior services and how people in our community can help their neighbors.
