High Meadow West now selling homesites High Meadow West, a community located along FM 1486, has begun selling homesites, according to a Jan. 23 news release. The 1,600-acre community will house 1,000 families, according to the news release. Amenities will include a recreation center, walking trails and pickleball courts. “This community is in an amazing location with great schools,” High Meadow Development owner David Frey said via news release.

Construction begins for Kresston community Construction has begun on Kresston, a 1,400- acre community from Johnson Development in Magnolia, according to a Jan. 30 news release. The details Construction has commenced on thoroughfares and residential neighborhoods as part of the first phase of the development, located at the inter- section of Hwy. 249 and FM 1486, Virgil Yoakum, senior vice president and general manager of Kresston, said in the release. The master plan of Kresston will include approx- imately 3,600 homes and: • A mixed-use residential lifestyle • Commercial retail space • Various amenities yet to be announced • An on-site Magnolia ISD school There will be retail, dining and other
