Mother’s Day at the Capitol The Austin Symphonic Band will host a Mother’s Day concert at the south steps of the State Capitol. The Amazing Acro-Cats Benefiting Street Cat Rescue out of Round Rock, the 90-minute show features trained house cats—all rescues—showing off their skills through a variety of feats such as skateboarding, jumping through hoops and more.
