Global Meetings Industry Day Visit The Woodlands joined the U.S. Travel Association and destinations around the world to celebrate Global Meetings Industry Day on April 11, 2024. This international day of advocacy highlights the economic impact meetings, such as the Texas Travel Alliance Unity Dinner, have on their communities.
Bruce Cunningham Day - March 27, 2024
The Township Board posthumously recognized Bruce E. Cunningham with a proclamation at their board meeting on March 27, 2024, in recognition of his many contributions to the community. During his 35 years as a resident, Mr. Cunningham served in numerous committee and volunteer roles and co-founded the Grogan’s Mill Farmers Market.

Changes to Our Magazine The Woodlands Community Magazine, the official publication of The Woodlands Township, is shifting to bi-monthly distribution, promoting environmental sustainability. In addition to adjusting our distribution, it is now ad-free which enhances its refinement and visual appeal.
