Bosscat Kitchen & Libations brings brunch destination and whiskey stash to The Woodlands’ Market Street
local liquor stores. Some popular whiskey options include whiskey from Kentucky as well as Japan. With national and international whiskey options, Bosscat Kitchen & Libations oers happy hour Monday through Friday from 3-6 p.m. The bar and restaurant also hosts private events for the community as well as local organizations. Some organizations Bosscat Kitchen & Libations has partnered with include the American Heart Associa- tion, Meals on Wheels and Mosaics of Mercy. Must-try menu items While Bosscat Kitchen & Libations specializes in American comfort food, the eatery also focuses on incorporating international avors. “Our corporate chef and my business partner have a heavy Vietnamese inuence. So we’ve married some other avors into our American cuisine,” Reed said. The restaurant is also known for its 12-hour beef short rib, cooked slowly and topped with black pepper sweet sauce. The eatery’s brunch menu features savory, sweet and healthy options as well as mimosas and signature cocktails. Some brunch favorites include the short rib chilaquiles, Smokehouse Benedict, Fruity Pebbles French Toast and country-fried steak, Reed said.
CEO John Reed brought whiskey bar and eatery Bosscat Kitchen & Libations to The Woodlands in February 2023. Bosscat Kitchen & Libations was founded by Reed alongside his business partner and events manager Jennifer Moore in 2014. Known for its extensive whiskey selection, the whiskey bar shifted from a bar to a brunch destina- tion with an American cuisine menu and whiskey. “Brunch is really what people are starting to know us for,” Reed said. Reed said Bosscat Kitchen & Libations was initially only serving brunch on the weekends; however, due to its popularity, the eatery began serving brunch daily in April.
