LAKE HOUSTON Two Harris County precincts are investing in preserving green space in the Lake Houston area through parks and trail sys- tems. While Harris County Precinct 2 continues construction on the 21-acre Atascocita Park, Harris County Precinct 4 will soon break ground on Edgewater Park. Mike Howlett, the special project coordinator for Harris County Precinct 4, said it is important to the county to preserve green space not only for recreational and environmental pur- poses, but to develop resilient areas that will minimize structural damages during severe rain events. Harris County Precinct 4 will soon break ground on its redevelopment of once-private Edgewater Park. Although the county acquired 86 acres of land on the north and south sides of Hamblen Road near Hwy. 59, Phase 1 of the park is only 19 acres. Construction on Phase 1 of the $2.17

Tomball Economic Development Corp. pursues local culinary incubator, food hall concept

TOMBALL The Tomball Economic Development Corp. is considering creating a culinary kitchen incuba- tor space to support emerging food entrepreneurs in the city of Tomball, Executive Director Kelly Violette said.
