David & Sheree Suchma Elementary School

August  and was funded with around  million from the district’s  bond. The school has nearly  classrooms including spaces for group work, science and ne arts. The school also has a gym, library, cafeteria and auditorium space, and outdoor playground. Suchma Elementary opened with more than  faculty members and around  students from kindergarten through sixth grade.

C onroe ISD’s newest school, David & Sheree Suchma Elementary School, opened Aug.  for the - academic year. The school is named aer educators David and Sheree Suchma, who taught in CISD for a combined  years and earned four Teacher of the Year awards each during their time with the district. The approximately ,-square- foot school began construction in

Suchma Elementary officially opened for the 2019-20 school year Aug. 14 following one year of construction.

1: Located next to the auditorium, the school library was already stocked with shelves of books at the beginning of the school year. 2: The school gymnasium features a full basketball court. 3: Classrooms for students from kindergarten to sixth grade feature standard chairs and tables alongside new standing desks and stools for group work.
