Red Bud Lane North: US 79 to CR 117 Under this project, Red Bud Lane will be upgraded to a four-lane divided roadway with pedestrian, intersection, curb and gutter improvements made. Construction is expected to begin in late 2022. The project will help alleviate mount- ing traffic density in the area, as sever- al thousand homes are under various stages of construction, according to the city. certificates of obligation to finance the projects and repay them through the collection of ad valorem property taxes and surplus revenue of Round Rock’s waterworks, drainage and sewer utilities fund. Council will publish the notice in accordance with state law a mini- mum of 45 days ahead of its April 28 meeting, according to Chief Financial Officer Susan Morgan. Morgan said the timing of issuing the bonds comes down to interest rates. It will be strategically beneficial to lock in lower rates sooner rather than later, especially if it looks like the current low interest rate market may rise, she said. This is not the only method of funding projects, Morgan said. In
