Park Blvd., Ste. 200, will have a private studio, physi- cal therapy rooms, a recovery area, 50 continuous yards of turf, a custom boxing ring and more. The Korean-style restaurant, located at 8900 Ohio Drive, Ste. A, sought to incorporate more mod- ern Korean dishes into its chicken-based menu.“We wanted to bring Korean dishes on top of our chickens and decided to modify our menus and bring a more Korean-driven vibe here,” Ko said in an email. “So we wanted to call it Mighty Chick Pocha. ‘Pocha’ means the place to provide late-night foods and drinks in Korea.” The updated Mighty Chick Pocha serves Korean comfort food and drinks, including pork dishes, fried chicken, a large beer menu and more. “Our mission is to bring [a] modern K-culture and eat- ery experience here in Plano,” Ko said. 214-308-9556. https://www.mighty- chickdfw.com COMING SOON 5 Mobility City plans to open a new lo- cation in Plano in late January, according to a spokesperson for the company. CALWest, located at 6501 Legacy Drive, used to serve as the headquarters for retailer JCPenney. The three-story Class A oce building was sold to Capital Commercial Investments in 2021 and is now a multitenant building with spaces available to rent, according to its website. According to city building permits, construction plans include new retaining walls around the pond, modications of storm sewer lines, and new hiking and biking trails around the property.

The permits for these construction projects were initially released in late 2019, but on-site construction shut down, forcing operations to stop before the projects were nished. A new permit was released last October, allowing construction to continue at CALWest.

ONGOING PROJECTS 1 Plano Parkway and Independence Parkway intersection improvements A project to improve this intersection will widen the road, improve signals, update pedestrian facilities and add full-traffic capacity to all four approaches at this intersection, including dual left-turn lanes and dedicated right-turn lanes. Crews have started underground utility work and will begin signal improvements in September, followed by pavement widening at the intersection. Timeline: August 2022-January 2023 Cost: $1.8 million Funding source: city of Plano 2 Park Boulevard intersection im- provements A project to improve five Park Boulevard intersections, including at A Coit Road, B Custer Road, C Alma Drive, D K Avenue and E Jupiter Road, will widen the roads and realign intersections. Crews have completed work at the Coit, Jupiter and Custer intersections and finished work at Alma by the end of October. Work began on signal improvements in October at the K Avenue location, and paving improvements will follow after the Alma Drive location is complete.
