The Ark Bakery and Café is a local non-profit that seeks freedom for those in the sex trade via sales of frozen artisan main dishes, sides, and baked goods prepared from fresh ingredients. Proceeds beyond production costs serve to fund anti-trafficking initiatives in NE Houston. Plans are currently under way to consolidate production and sales under one roof with the goal of offering culinary internships to individuals desiring to exit the sex industry.
