Board Honors Firefighters for Five-Alarm Blaze The Woodlands Fire Department along with neighboring agencies responded to a five-alarm fire at CubeSmart Storage on February 7, 2024. The fire was extinguished on February 8, 2024, 15 hours after it started. The CubeSmart fire was one of three largest fires to occur in the region this century.

Join us on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Town Hall for our annual emergency preparedness event. The National Weather Service will give a presentation about the 2024 Hurricane Season and we have several raffle prizes including a generator. Bring the entire family and enjoy loads of kids’ activities.

Township Board of Directors presented The Woodlands Fire Department with a Proclamation during the February 22, 2024 board meeting.
995 Years of Service On Tuesday, February 27, 2024, The Woodlands Township held a Service Award Breakfast for employees who have reached a milestone year of five years or more. 78 employees received a milestone award totaling 995 years of combined service.
