Township board approves park study The Woodlands Township board of directors approved $52,000 on Feb. 22 to conduct a fea- sibility study for a new community park at the Grogan’s Mill Village Center in partnership with Montgomery County and development company Howard Hughes. What you need to know The study follows the approval of a land swap deal in September between Montgomery County and Howard Hughes for a new community center and South Regional Library. Currently, the township does not own any portion of the land at the Grogan’s Mill Village Center. Chris Nunes, the township’s chief operat- ing ocer, said the feasibility study is based on a verbal request between the county and Howard Hughes.

What you need to know The plan allows for an initial $2 increase to fares in the rst two years, with an additional $1.50 increase if needed in 2026. Public comment runs through April 3.
