Crow’s Martial Arts Academy opened about a year ago at the University Business Plaza along University Drive.
co-owns the school. He has more than 50 years of experience in learning and teaching martial arts. “I started when I was 16 and been doing it ever since,” Crow said. What’s special about it? Every one of the school’s programs are geared to bene ting the students, Crow said. The school o ers drills and hand-eye coordination to improve a sports player’s timing, strength and conditioning. “No matter if you’re into sports, martial arts or whatever, you have to understand the concept of things because sometimes you can be a day late and a dollar short,” he said.
About the business The school o ers a wide range of martial arts classes for kids and adults. Subjects include Jun-Fan Gung Fu, Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu grappling, boxing and more. Additionally, the academy o ers sports science courses meant to improve the performance of sports athletes like football and basketball players. “I give a lot of di erent arts to give the person more options and more bene ts to protect them- selves,” Crow said.
