15.3-acre business park slated for airport-adjacent property
A new industrial complex dubbed McKinney Air Business Park is planned for a 15.3-acre site in next to McKinney National Airport. The project and site acquisition by private- ly-owned investment and industrial real estate development company CapRock Partners was announced Aug. 13. The business park will include two Class A industrial buildings spanning about 250,000 square feet in total, a news release states. Diving in deeper The industrial complex is adjacent to both the airport and the future Spur 399 extension, and project o cials said in the release that the devel- opment will bene t from the planned commercial passenger terminal expansion at the airport. The site was also selected due to its location in “one of the premier institutional submarkets” in the North Texas area, the release states. “McKinney continues to attract logistics providers, manufacturers and distributors seeking

modern, well-connected facilities,” CapRock Vice President of Acquisitions Taylor Starnes said in the release. “With its strategic location near major transportation routes and a growing economic base, McKinney Air Business Park will help drive business expansion and regional growth.” Work on the project is expected to begin in the rst quarter of 2026, according to the release.
