UPCOMING PROJECTS 1 Karnes Road reconstruction This project consists of the improvement of Karnes Road in Flower Mound from a two-lane asphalt road to a two-lane concrete road with curb and gutter from Old Settlers Road to FM 1171. The project is scheduled to receive bids in July. Timeline: summer 2023-TBD Cost: $830,000 Funding source: Tax Increment Reinvest- ment Zone 2 US 377 expansion This Texas Department of Transportation project consists of the reconstruction and widening of a two-lane portion of US 377 in Argyle to a four-lane divided urban roadway to Country Club Road. REGIONAL UPDATE

The North Texas Tollway Authority ocially increased rates on July 1, with the per-mile rate rising from $0.20 to $0.21. This totals approx- imately $5.60 more per month for most TollTag customers, according to a June NTTA news release. Drivers who use the pay-by-mail ZipCash method instead of a TollTag will pay double the rate to compensate for collection costs and “provide fair- ness” among tollway drivers, according
